Garden Sprinkler
A garden sprinkler is similar to a lawn sprinkler but often lower pressure and water flows are encourage preventing delicate plants from becoming damaged. Typically pop-up spray heads are used that are spaced closer together than on a lawn to allow for even watering at lower pressure.
Soaker hoses are often used as a garden sprinkler. These can be connected up to a sprinkler timer for automatic watering or they can be simply connected to a hose spigot and manually turned on from time to time. Soaker hoses work best at low flows for a long period of time and are great a conserving water.
Impact heads are typically to high pressured and far shooting to be effective garden sprinklers except on the largest gardens. Whether it is a flower garden or a vegetable garden the plants are much more delicate than the grass used on lawns which necessitates gentle watering.
